5 Ways to Ground Your Energy
Being grounded is the foundation for growth and transformation.
When we are ungrounded we may feel fearful, anxious or restless. We might have a hard time concentrating and being organized. Our boundary lines might be blurred and we might not feel safe in our bodies.
When we are grounded we feel safe and relaxed. Our energy is focused and stable. We maintain strong boundaries. When grounded we aren’t afraid of change because we are rooted in our knowing.
It is so important that remember to ground into this Earth that pulled us here.
1.Take the time to eat deeply nourishing foods
Eating whole foods that come straight from the Earth can help balance and re-center our bodies both spiritually and physically. The foods that are the most grounding are rich in vitamins and minerals helping our bodies to feel strong and supported. Root Vegetables like Carrots, Sweet Potatoes, Beets ect are also great at helping to ground our energy.
2. Listen to your body and honor it’s boundaries
Taking the time to check in with your body and honoring it’s boundaries allow your soul to feel safe and grounded. The next time you make a decision pause for a moment and check in with yourself is your body saying yes! or is it telling you no?
3.Spend time with your bare feet on the ground
The earth has a natural electric charge that stabilizes our physiology and brings us back to harmony. Get outside and connect your bare feet to the earth below us for 15 minutes.
4.Come back to your breath often
When you feel yourself getting caught up in a whirlwind of emotions taking a long deep breath in and long exhale out is one of the quickest ways to ground yourself and get back to the present moment.
